Support
for Newly Diagnosed Persons
The
Toronto Chapter is a leading resource for persons newly
diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, as well as for their
friends and family living in Toronto. If you have been
diagnosed with MS in the past two years, please join us
in the spring for "MS 101 - an introductory
series for persons newly diagnosed with MS and family
members".

Chapter's resource room contains books, magazines,
videos and other pertinent information around MS. For

Support
Groups
The Toronto Chapter acts as an aid to a variety of support groups
meeting in various locations throughout Toronto. Staff
are available to assist interested individuals in forming
new groups.

Membership
A
yearly membership with the chapter is $15 for individuals
with MS and their families. Members receive: MetroScope
the chapter's bimonthly newsletter which contains chapter
updates and community resources; Ontario and National
newsletters which contain medical updates and social action
initiatives; and access to chapter services and programs
which are detailed in the Service section of this site.
Membership ensures you stay up-to-date on MS issues and
are informed of upcoming educational workshops and specialized
courses specifically for MS clients.

STATEMENT
The
Toronto Chapter of the Multiple Scleross Society of Canada
aims "to maximize the quality of life for persons
with multiple sclerosis and their support network with
in the Toronto Chapter's geographical boundaries."
