Recreational Programs (Weekly Schedule)

The chapter assists in the development of various community-based programs such as massage and yoga for persons with MS. We are available to partner with your community group to develop new programs and services.

You Should Dance

Designed specifically for people with neuro-skeletal chronic disease such as Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis. The class is dance/pilates based. No dance experience is required. Movement to music begins in a chair and progresses to standing movement. The ability to move to music helps those with PD and MS find joy and expression through dance.
-Classes $15 or $50 per month
-Students must be able to independently walk a minimum of 10 metres with or without walking aids. Elevator access.
-Classes are every Wednesday at 1:30pm.

Class geared to people living with MS who'd like to be more comfortable in their bodies. Specialized Gentle Yoga class done in Chairs.  Location, Queen St. and Lee Ave., in the Beach.
