Volunteering
line

At the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, we recognize that our volunteers are our greatest resource. They make a world of difference in every area of the organization. Whether helping out at a special event like the Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk, assisting with recreational programs, putting their skills to work in the office, or becoming a board or committee member, every volunteer contribution is highly valued and appreciated.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of the MS Society. If you have even just a few hours to spare, we want to meet you! We have opportunities in many areas of the organization - there is something for everyone.

ML Walk logoThis year's Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk takes place on April 18 and 25, and May 16 and 30 in communities across Manitoba. Bike Tour logoThe RONA MS Bike Tour Biking to the Viking is a two-day weekend event taking place on August 28 & 29 , 2010. Cyclists ride from Stonewall to Gimli on Saturday, then return on Sunday. MS volunteers are required for jobs both big and small - in both locations and along the 185 km route. It's one of the most fun weekends of the summer!

The Riding Mountain Challenge takes riders on a true cycling adventure. Held September 11 & 12, the route winds its way along mountain roads from Dauphin to Wasagaming and back. MS volunteers play a crucial role in putting on this event. Lots of fresh air and great food for all!

I'd like to volunteer!
