It's time to lace up for 2010. Register today!
 This year’s walk will take place on Sunday, May 16 and we want to see you there! Bring your friends and family and help us reach our goal to end MS.
You can register now through our online registration system and get started fundraising right away.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by being a
Team MS Team Captain!
Any new or current Team Captains who recruit 3 NEW team members between Friday March 12 and Wednesday March 17 will be entered into a draw to win $300 in Sobeys Gift Cards. There are 2 ways to enter:
1. NEW TEAM CAPTAINS
Register for the 2010 Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk as Team Captain and recruit 3 team members to join your new team between March 12 and March 17.
2. CURRENT TEAM CAPTAINS
Recruit 3 new team members to be part of your 2010 Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk team between March 12 and March 17.
Note: New team members must check off “Recruited by Team Captain” when asked for their marketing source during the online registration.
Team MS Lucky Day Recruitment Tips
- On Friday, send an email to your coworkers. Tell them about the Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk and about how much fun your Team is. Tell them, “It’s your lucky day! Join Team MS!”
- On Saturday, have a St. Patty’s Day party with 2 or more of your friends. Make Irish coffee and listen to a Celtic jig. Tell your friends “If you think this is fun, think of how much fun you’ll have on my team at the Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk!”
- On Sunday, phone 2 family members to catch up. Let them know about your team that is walking to end MS. Ask them to join you in the fight to end MS by being a part of your team.
- Bake cookies with green icing for work on Monday. Attach an invitation for your coworkers telling them “It’s your lucky day! Join my team for the Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk.”
- On Tuesday, have a coffee party with 2 more friends. Bring them “Pot of Gold” chocolates with a team MS invite attached to it telling them “It’s your lucky day! Join my team for the Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk and together, we will end MS.”
- On Wednesday, send a “Lucky Day” St Patrick’s Day email to your friends, family, and coworkers. Tell them, “With every step you take to end MS, your luck will improve…and the first step is to join my Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk Team.” Include the link www.mswalks.ca for them to click and register.
A Greener Walk
All Walks in Manitoba are going to be greener! We will not have disposable water bottles for Walkers this year, but will have 5 gallon water dispensers that you can fill your own bottle with. Remember to bring a refillable container with you this year!

Team Captain T-shirts
Every Team Captain who registers for all MS Walks in Manitoba by Tuesday, April 6th will automatically receive an MS Walk T-shirts with “Team Captain” written on the back at Check-In on Walk day.

Your
involvement means that substantial funding goes toward national
MS research and that the MS Society can continue to provide
crucial services and programs to people living with multiple
sclerosis. All money raised supports research into the cause and cure
for multiple sclerosis and funds programs and services for
people living with MS.
Walkers
