Team Up with TeamMS

Team Pharmacy photoTeamMS is a complimentary program to the Walk where individual participants can form their own team or join another team and Walk together to end MS.

Every year close to 400 MS Walk teams participate in fundraising events here in Manitoba. It is statistically proven teams raise more money, have more fun, and return to participate more often than those who participate alone. It only takes four people to form a team. If you currently participate with friends and family, but you are registered as individuals, please contact your local MS office and register as a team.

Team Captain T-shirts

Every Team Captain who registers for all MS Walks in Manitoba by Tuesday, April 6th will automatically receive an MS Walk T-shirts with “Team Captain” written on the back at Check-In on Walk day.

Team Up with TeamMS for the 2010 MS Walk to directly inspire and share your success with others. It’s easy. Pick a team captain, a team name, and register at www.teamms.ca.

A Greener Walk

All Walks in Manitoba are greener! We will not have disposable water bottles for Walkers, but will have 5 gallon water dispensers that you can fill your own bottle with. Remember to bring a refillable container with you to next year's MS Walk! When possible, our Footnotes newsletter will be e-mailed to participants to save both on costs and trees. Those who did not submit their e-mail address will be mailed a copy. Keep an eye on your inbox to be sure not to miss the next issue!

Be a Walker. Be an end to MS.

Our online system is ready to help you get your fundraising started for the 2010 Manitoba Lotteries MS Walk. Go to www.mswalks.ca to get started!

Your involvement means that substantial funding goes toward national MS research and that the MS Society can continue to provide crucial services and programs to people living with multiple sclerosis. All money raised supports research into the cause and cure for multiple sclerosis and funds programs and services for people living with MS.

Walkers collect pledges from friends, family, neighbours, and co-workers.
