There are two awards--one for newspaper or magazine writing, in either English or French, and the other in radio or television broadcasting, in either English or French. Entries in both categories will be judged for their excellence in bringing before the public the facts about multiple sclerosis.

The 2009 award submissions are due on February 10, 2010 and must have been aired or published in general circulation media between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009.

Entries may be a single story or program or a series and will be judged on the basis on which they were submitted. Print ads or broadcast PSAs will not be considered. Entries may be submitted by the individual writer or producer, or others on his or her behalf with permission of the writer or producer. MS Society chapters may submit entries, with permission of the writer or producer. A completed entry form must be submitted for each entry.
