Brief Overview of the Atlantic Division
The Atlantic Division of the MS
Society of Canada opened its doors on March 23, 1974.
- One of seven Divisions of the MS Society of Canada, the Atlantic
Division encompasses the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick,
Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.
- The Atlantic Division has an extensive network of Chapters
and Self-Help Groups that
serve people affected by MS in communities across the region.
- The Division is governed by
a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of individuals from all four
provinces. The Board sets the policy and drives the mission of the
Atlantic Division.
