Who We Are

A Brief Overview of the Atlantic Division

The Atlantic Division of the MS Society of Canada opened its doors on March 23, 1974.

  • One of seven Divisions of the MS Society of Canada, the Atlantic Division encompasses the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.
  • The Atlantic Division has an extensive network of Chapters and Self-Help Groups that serve people affected by MS in communities across the region.
  • The Division is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of individuals from all four provinces. The Board sets the policy and drives the mission of the Atlantic Division.
