The
Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (Atlantic Division) works to ensure
that people affected by MS have the opportunity to participate fully in
all aspects of life. The MS Society works with people with multiple sclerosis or their care partners in the community to help them obtain needed services and maximize quality of life.
We also carry out government relations work to change policy, private industry practice and public attitues in ways that will benefit people with MS.

Join us as we work toward catastrophic drug coverage in New Brunswick.
|
New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island are the only two provinces in Canada without a catastrophic drug coverage program in place forcing the majority of residents to rely on private health insurance to cover the costs associated with their MS treatments. In addition, more than one-quarter of New Brunswickers do not have private health insurance and must find a way to pay for treatment themselves. |
 |
| The MS Society of Canada urges all governments to move quickly to create and provide Canadians with uniform access to necessary prescription drugs and related therapies, starting with the Government of New Brunswick. |
